do not want him. Not really an upgrade over Jennings or Harris either.

actually, pretty big upgrade over both if we can assume he can run the system in a short time. He has nice completion numbers and yardage totals. He went crazy at the end of the year with turnovers, but even with that was far more productive than any qb LSU had.

I don't believe that Golson will be a tiger anymore, but people shutting him down is hilarious. The guy will be a 3,000 yard passer, which is almost nonexistent in LSU qb history. He's about to end up at Bama and Kiffin Korner will put it on the SEC again.

All Bama, all the time. This board is absolutely pathetic with your obsession with the University of Alabama. You probably have daddy issues

I don't understand why anyone would say this.

I can't believe that Led Miles isn't going to try for him. It seems like half of the SEC is recruiting him and they have better QB's than LSU with less of everything else.

Put Golson in last years offense with last years play calling and I doubt he has any better numbers than Jennings. Big tweaks to the system seem to be coming though. So things could change. I think we see big improvements to the passing game this season.

As if we didn't try to pass the ball. The playcalling was fine.

Golson is a turnover machine, and that's why he was replaced at Notre Dame. Doesn't LSU already have two of those at QB?

Furthermore, Brandon Harris was a can't-miss prospect at QB and couldn't take the job permanently in his first year. So what makes anyone think Miles would start Golson with four months or less under his belt at LSU when the season starts?

In one sentence you call Harris a "turnover machine" and in the next you call him a "can't miss prospect. Airtight logic right here folks.

I'm not obsessed with Bama at all, but there's a strong chance he goes there. Florida State would probably be a better fit considering Jimbo's ability to prepare qbs specifically.

posters on here really don't understand how bad our offense system was last season and how bad it made the QB's and recievers look. Not that they are that great or anything, and they were young. But the play calling and overall system we ran last year was aweful for young inexperienced skill position players to play in. It didn't do them any favors. Watch the difference this year. Opening up the offense somewhat and better play calls, combined with more experience to both our OC and offense skill position players, is going to make a huge difference this upcoming season to the passing game as well as opening up the run game.

No. Read it again. When he said "we already have two" he was referring to "turnover machines".

Hope that helped

our offensive system was limited because our QB's were limited, or at least AJ was.

And the guy that wasn't able to beat him out, Harris.
