The key for the past years of CLM VS Saban is coaching- but not in game- it is preparation

CLM properly prepared for Nick in season- Nick overlooked CLM and was not prepared for getting beat at his own game

Nick prepared for BCS- CLM thought he could do the same again and did not prepare for Nick's changes

2012- which coach will properly prepare for the other team?

I don't agree that either coach overlooked anything for any game.

LSU has played right with Bama every game and had the chance to win every one of them....except the BCS championship

We will ve ready.

(Nick overlooked CLM and was not prepared for getting beat at his own game)

This statement proves that you have no clue what your talking about. It's stupid to think that Saban overlooked CLM with two weeks to prepare.

Les Miles brand of football wins games period.

You must only look at the last two games, because that statement is not true.

Only my opinion. Saban, Muschamp, Meyer, Kelly, etc. teams are well prepared and gameplans are well thought out with mid-game adjustments. Their players play with mental toughness and discipline with accountability for errors. Les Miles football is conservative, clock control, but unorganized, undisciplined and have more mental errors. This results in close games and underperforming results from the talent we have.

I believe we're always more critical of the things we love, which is LSU, I don't think we're as near unprepared as people think.

I personally think we have very weak reciever's which is hurting our offense. Saturday, was a very windy day and they were not getting any separation, and on the long throws I believe the wind was affecting them. JMO

I agree. But Les told his staff before the season started, "we are going to be fine with OBJ, Boone, Wright, etc." I have to beleive there were other receivers over 6'2" with athletic ability out there for us to offer. What about converting a tight end. May not move fast, but has the height for short fades and over the middle possession catches on 3rd down...

we are probably not, but it really shows when you play a team that is better prepared...

why did you "pick out" just the regular season?

I think that is admirable also. I would prefer to win more that we lose, but that's just me. Not perfection, but a reasonable, rational desire for our great Louisiana talent and $4.5 million dollars of our money...

Well, he has beat them. And they have beaten him. Could it come down to player execution, and or preparedness?

some on this board act as if we had a receiver that was 2 or 3 inches taller that that would take care of the problem with our receivers.
82-19 is way better than most.

1 thing I have noticed this year, LSU seems to have lost their discipline! Look at how many mistakes we have had this year especially in the red zone. I think we had 14 last game. This comes down to coaching. Whats happened?
