The difference between now and the Hallman years.....

I read posts that say "remember how bad it used to be? 8 wins was a dream." Yes, I remember. It was so bad that I sat next to Roovelroe Swan at an SECC game and he hadn't whatched a college game since he left LSU.

However, we were never the most talented team on the field. The fundamental difference is that with the exception of maybe Bama, every time we hit the tunnel, LSU has a decided talent advantage....and year after year it is squandered. That's why so many of us are disheartened more than we used to be.
