Why aren't people talking about Kirby Smart from Alabama. He has been the Bama d coordinator for 10 years and they are consistently a top 5 defense every year. He has won 3 National Titles, and coached tons of NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball. Also his last 6 games against LSU he has given up 16, 13,17,17,0, and 6. He also knows the roots of Saban. I mean if he's kicking our arse every year we might as well hire him.

Would hire him over Dan Mullen 100 times. ..maybe I've seen too many Miss St games this year to know Mullen is miles 2.0 with a slightly better offensive mind. He has wtf moments in every game I'm seen

I think Kirby Smart is a realistic hire.

Too risky. No HC experience and everyone knows that's Sabans defense. I will say though that he has been with Saban long enough and is so involved in the defense he probably knows it well by now.
