Trying hard to not look like an LSU homer.

Not to mention USC over Stanford. Oregon being ranked at all. The UCLA jump.

Nobody cares about Ross. This won't change that.

Good thing the polls are meaningless, much like this writer.

What a craphole! You think Bama or Ole Miss writers purposefully vote their team lower than the rest of the Country? Hell no, they'd be run out of Town. This is inexcusable!

he must go to bed before the Pac 12 games start. How is Oregon ranked ahead of Cal, and USC ahead of Stanford?

at this point in the season you could easily argue the 9 teams he has ahead of LSU belong where he has them. It's not like he's got LSU at 22 or something.

You are pathetic. All nine teams are suspect for being ranked above LSU.

Wanna see what's up? Think back to all the whining about SEC teams dominating the polls in recent years. Now look at last year's NC game - no SEC. But that's on us (the SEC).

What I'm trying to say is the AP poll in particular functions as a "corrective" for all the non SEC (read Big 10) whiners who want to feel better about themselves. Note the #1 and #2 teams.

In the end, it will be the SEC and whoever.

I look at it and I think WHATEVER. Who has UCLA beat of any measure this year? At best they are at best a second-10 team. Ole Miss....Ok but let's see how that plays out. TCU and Baylor are Big 12 teams with no defense. Seriously?? It will all shake out by the end of the season but it seems he falls into the trap of being enamored by teams who run up big scores against inferior competition. If you are going to write for the Advocate, be a Tiger fan. Otherwise move to WACO.
