I will never forget 2007 Florida when they announced the USC Stanford upset.
Set the record for loudest CFB crowd at the time. (Re-set the record on the FG block against Bama in 08 to send it to OT).

I still think Florida 1997 was the most consistently loud game I've ever been to. Honestly the FG block against Alabama in 2008 was right there with the single loudest moments I can remember.

Multiple times during the UF 2007 game the noise got so loud it all turned into one deafening tone. So loud I couldn't hear myself scream, yet it took 3 days for my voice to recover. I know we have had some loud moments since then, but that game is far and away the loudest game ever IMHO.

When Jeremy Hill busted that long game-clinching TD run the crowd went nuts!!! one of my favorite memories in the student section at TS

I've always wondered if LSU has a running decibel meter during big football games... would be some cool stats to see regardless.

Loudest sustained game I've ever been too....And I've been to all of them since '97
Hands down it's 1997 Florida. Better than '03 Georgia, '07 Florida, '08, '12, '14 Bama and '12 S. Carolina.
But I will say all of those game were loud and any of them isn't a bad choice.
My favorite pre-game moment was in '07 against V. Tech when the guys parachuted in over the South Endzone wall. I thought it was deafening when the first guy came in with the V. Tech flag in support of the victims of the campus massacre...but then the US flag....and then finally the LSU flag. The place was vibrating!!!

Loudest game while I was a student.
Louder than Alabama that same year. Crowd was into the game the whole time. Knew the team needed it. Was an awesome experience.

I was at the 2014 Bama game. It was pretty damn loud the whole game. Especially, when we threw that first touchdown and the refs called it out of bounds then reversed it. And the frick you Saban was pretty funny too

The whole game was loud, but on that play the entire stadium was losing there minds.. It was amazing, everyone just throwing their food and drinks in the air

I remember the '96 Tulane game be very loud, it was my youngest daughter, 5 @ the time, 1st game, we had to leave early because her ears were hurting so bad...said she was never going to that stadium again...but she is hooked now...

My ears were literally ringing after that play. I was pissed, but it was a great game to be a part of. I can see next weekend having the same type of atmosphere.
