According to the report, Simon told the officer, "I own Eunice," and "I'm gonna buy these projects and you are gonna be mine," (sic) before finally moving his vehicle. The officer noted in the report that Simon spun his wheels and "backed the vehicle in an aggressive manner" and turned his radio "all the way up" while moving his car. The report also says Simon told the officer that "the mayor was on [his] side" and that the officer would be fire if he wrote a ticket. Simon is charged with public intimidation, resisting an officer, and unnecessary noise violation.

At some point, the common denominator between the dope smokers, the JJ/TM7 arrest tells me their is a systemic problem at LSU that Leslie Miles cannot control.
Something is not right here.
Why did s many players defect our program when most of them will not even be drafted? They wanted out that bad....why?

Judging by what's in the police report (which said policeman wrote) Simon was partying with friends spouted off to the officer but did what he told him to do. The officer obviously knew who he was and if he didn't at the start tharold obviously made it known by the end. He did what the cop wanted just not in the tone the cop wanted so the cop being full of himself took it upon himself to teach tharold a lesson. I don't need anymore facts than what's in the police report that's biased to the cops side.

Goes both ways. The cops are assholes too. If you don't ride off at 10mph or salute them before leaving, they get mad. Especially leaving them without doughnuts.

A statement will be issed saying Simon was miss quoted and never said that. Unless the officer has audio, its his word against Tharold's.
Now, the jury of public opinion will most likely believe the cop.....if I was a betting man, he did say those things.

The bottom line is, if Simon would have only said "OK" then he wouldnt have inflamed the situation and he wouldnt have just detrimented his own check book. You have to be a really stupid person to get arrested on draft day.
