Dude is NBA ready and deserves his cash.

Glad that he chose the purple and gold to play for.

Hats off sir, it was fun to watch you grow up in these 2 years.

I will also say that when our teams perform like we did last night and last year in football--talent like JM will make the hop rather than stay around and be frustrated one more year

Thanks JM

Why does every idiot feel the need to start their own thread about the direction they think our players will go well in advance of their decision? Let it play out and see what they do. Start this thread after he declares his intent to enter the draft.

look at the way he's performing, it'd be a massive mistake to not go on his behalf

and this is a message board, if you don't like this thread then don't post in it

and look at the original post, im not actually saying he's leaving, im just thanking him for his time here

ps......you would suck as an NBA scout

That is your opinion and you have absolutely NO clue what the hell you are talking about. You don't know anything about evaluating NBA talent. You don't know what his situation is like and you don't know what he wants to do. Good luck to him in making the best decision for him and his family, but these prediction threads are so fricking stupid.

are you jarell's dad???

why are you so mad???????

the dude is playing like a grown man, he's developed a decent mid range shot, filled out his body

can body up with bigger guys down low

he's very versatile

if you can't see that he's ready for the draft you're blind

and again im not bashing Jarell, you're acting like I am

I think you're missing the point of the internet, this is where we come to discuss things, it's simple if you don't like it leave

Can you please share with the rest of the thread where I even slightly insinuated that I know anything about NBA talent evaluation or where I even hinted at making a prediction about what either Martin or Mickey will do or what they should do?

Thanks!

Martin was a beast, and he carried this team. We're not in the tourney, and probably barely above .500 without him.

THANKS, JARELL!!!

I'm not mad. I just think threads thanking a player for their contributions and declaring that they will leave for the NBA before they have declared it is stupid.

Yes, he has been an amazing player and an incredibly representative of LSU.

I never said or hinted that he wouldn't be successful in the NBA.

you're clearly capable of judging other anonymous users without knowing a single thing about them, yet it bothers you when they do that with Jarell Martin.

Since you can clearly identify someone who has no idea what they're talking about, please share the qualifications you have that allows you to make this determination.

Thanks!

the facts are that he is ready and he'd be turning down alot of money that equals him leaving

Maybe he is. Frick, I'm really not sure what is so confusing about what I said. All I said was let's wait for the thank you for your contribution thread until he actually declares.

Cool. You must be pretty bored if you are going to sit around and think about and remember this thread 3 months from now. I'm not sure why you think I "won't be anywhere around". You aren't proving me wrong with anything. If he declares, he declares and I will wish him nothing but luck and I haven't said one time that he isn't ready. So I guess congrats to you?

There's a big difference between being a project and being ready for the NBA. He is nowhere near the latter. I agree that he should probably declare, as I don't think the things he needs to improve on will be taught to him at LSU. That's not even a knock on CJJ. When you are bigger, stronger, and faster than your competition, you don't take jump shots for the hell of it. His college position and where he will play in the NBA are two different worlds.

Just my opinion of course. Good luck to him.

Can't disagree with this. He could've gotten to the foul line so much more this season. Speaking of, so many of the shots he was fouled on last night came so very close to falling. Any of them do, and we'd be celebrating this morning.
