Bumping this thread.

Booger had the best explanation of the Miles situation I ever heard.

Even after the announcement he stated "The elephant is still in the room" in regards to Miles problems with the program.

I was impressed by his take on the entire ordeal.

It just seems that either Les doesn't want to change or just doesn't understand the nuances of offensive schemes that can exploit matchups.

Either way, it's not good. At all.

If our QB can complete the simple passes on a consistent basis next year then the same offense will work much better. If he does not then it doesn't matter what offense we run.

LSU can do better... with a better coach

Just get an OC and let him run an offense.

That's all LSU needs. As long as Miles is the head coach, recruiting will be fine and the team will play hard.

All the program needs is someone who can implement a modern passing attack.

And whose fault is it that Miles hasn't recruited a single QB out of HS that could hit "simple passes?"

He did a great job in the post-game SEC Show of explaining to the world why people who love L.S.U. football responded as we have as the "trajectory" of the program heads in the wrong direction. I gained a great deal of respect for Booger!

He did do a very good job.

In fact, hats off to all three. They actually had an intelligent, nuanced discussion of the pros and cons of Les Miles. No soundbytes. I was very impressed. They blew the Gameday crew and the rest of ESPN off the map.

Please tell me who is ultimately responsible for evaluating, recruiting, and developing the QB?

Miles is responsible for the whole program, the good and the bad.

We are not doing a very good job of developing QB's for sure. Harris has a ton of talent, he just needs proper coaching to fine tune his mechanics and bring out his talent.
