I hate A&M for not giving us any reason to hate them yet.

I mean yeah sure Johnny Football is a fruit and their fanbase is a cult, but I feel relatively no hate towards them compared to Alabama, Auburn, and Florida.

meh...
Not insecure enough to desire validation from aggies for one of our best DEs?
and not even for Sam's play but just that they love him because he gave a thumbs up to their QB?

Someone should post in that thread that the LSU fanbase really don't care that Sonic Sam give Johnny football props. Tell them in bold words, we are not Texas or the big 12. We can praise each other players. Unless they are name CHaz rAmsey other then that we are not THAT petty.

In the words of CLM "Wow! What a game." and in the Words of CNS " Settle the frick down" .

for me, it'll take more than losing a couple games to them. It'll take something like cigars on our field, Spurrier running it up in the 90s, or Nick Saban for true hate to ensue.

Wow, awesome interview
Sounds like he would be an Aggie if we recruited him right now out of high school!

WTF is wrong with these guys? Have they never had a player get complimented for being a great player before? They are acting like Sam is in love with A&M because he gave Manziel props. Weird bunch those Aggies.

Texas syndrome, they are taught to be completely selfish and never admit the other side have any talent. You should feel bad for them because this is the big 12 mentality that they have developed because of all the abuse.

I wonder what else we take for granted that they think is a big deal.

TAMU is the antithesis of LSU in every way, as a college culture. Spend a day on their campus and you will despise them.

I couldn't figure out what the second "f" was for. I knew it couldn't be "fu#%ing"! Thanks for clearing that up, and that's what I'm going with from now on...

I'm tired of them giving the reach around to Bama. That's about it.

Nah. I've spent several days recruiting on their campus. It's different, no doubt. But you'd have to be small to despise them. It boils down to this: their ROTC culture is anachronistic. They've become pugnacious about that oddity. Add to this an inferiority complex from looking up to the Longhorns for half a century and you get a bit of a bunker mentality, and as Churchill said of the Germans, they are either at your feet or at your throat. There's something not quite right there, but it's eccentric not despicable.

This is going to come across too harshly, so please keep what I am about to say in the context of "friendly rivalry". I'm mostly just poking fun, but I have degrees from both TAMU and LSU, so I've spent more than a few days on the TAMU campus. I have friends on the faculty and others who are graduates. I stand by my assessment. To say that their culture is anachronistic is being kind. Perhpas it takes more than several days for the backwardness to sink in, but look beneath the facade and you'll see the righteous paranoia that fuels Aggie pride. I'm speaking of the culture, not any individual. There are genuinely good people at TAMU, but as an institution they are easy to hate (in the sporting sense of the word only, of course)

Wander on over to the Rant and get to know a few of the Aggie Posters......

Dislike will creep in very quickly

Something very weird about the entire culture there....went to a game back in the 90's and got that same vibe.
