He's sat, I think, 5 quarters so far. Maybe 6.

Someone research that shite and tweet it to some media types.

The Dagger

How can people not notice that we have about five plays that Cam calls on when we need LF7 to break one? He doesn't even get touched!

Guice has 263 yds on only 29 carries. That's pretty sick.

And think about all the time the other team's offense is on the field!!!! Take that out too.

Are you serious with this crap?

And so it begins....

This is what I was talking about in another thread where I got a downvote dogpile. (And I expect another one here).

LF is a freakish athlete. Possibly the best ever to play in the position.

His stats won't reflect it though. And the books won't have asterisks on how often he sat but was able to play.

He doesn't have that break away speed LF7 has (not many do) but he is very impressive and with experience his vision will get better and he will become a polished back .....

As it is he's averaging over 9 yards per carry .... Wow

Is it fair to say Guice looks better than LF7 was 5 games into last year?

Such a dumb thing to say. Are you saying most elite players play every snap of every game?

Well considering we didn't play the mcneese game and he then essentially sat out the second halves of Auburn and USCe, it's not a dumb thing to say. Of course he's not saying elite athletes play every snap of the game, but he is saying most elite athletes play 4 quarters of a game.

Guice is plenty fast. He might even be a little quicker, but it's really hard to say. He has a very different running style, and adds a nice element to our run game.

If we are going that far, why not just count the seconds the ball was in his hands?

I'm naturally biased but I like all of our running backs especially Williams because he chose to come to LSU even though he knew he'd be backing up Fournette. Ask yourself this, if you could only pick one between Guice and Fournette, who would you pick? That should answer your question.

Was Treyvon Boykin in the whole UT game when his team was up 31-0 at half? No of course he wasn't.
Do you think that Bo or Herschel never got pulled early because the game was out of hand, or rested bc they tweaked an ankle or something and it's not worth risking it (like Fournette Saturday). All players sit sometimes.

Maybe we should ask Miles real nice-like to play Guice in the third quarter and see how Fournette chews up a tired defense in the 4th quarter?
