How many "good" teams has LSU beaten?
They didn't lose a midweek game or a series to a .500 conference team or two series in a row to end the season

I don't give as much credit for midweek wins, and also don't consider Ole Miss, Bama, and Auburn as good teams, good teams are at least .500 in conference

LSU has 20 wins against teams in the top 40 Rpi and it goes up to 24 against top 50 and 25 against the top 60
LSU was only team to beat MSU 2 out of 3 @ MSU.
LSU also did not lose a road series all season.
I don't agree with UNC being #2, especially considering the toughest part of there schedule, they struggled big time. I think they are overrated.
LSU beating State on the road 2 of 3 is better than anything UNC has done all season. FACT

We've lost 1, UNC has lost 2, thats very close and a small part of the criteria
I wouldn't say it's a small part of the criteria.

UCLA and UCI - CSFU
A midweek game and UCI? As in irvine? They are not a good team IMO

UNC only has 15 against the top 40
CSFU only has 10 but it includes 2 against Oregon, UCLA, Cal Poly

Don't get me wrong they are a very good team I just don't agree with leaving them at 2.

I'm just not of the belief that teams should stay where they after losing a weekend series.

I agree, thats why I have LSU way up there, #3. Also true they didn't lose a road series (MSU series win was impressive), UNC has lost only 1 road series
Margin of Victory also pretty heavily in UNC favor.
I think that's because they played some weaker teams. LSU played every team in the SEC tourney. We didnt play the likes of Boston College, Wake Forest, and Duke who had combined conference records of 22-66.

Cool, I don't take other polls into my equation.
Irvine's RPI is in the 60s, an average conference record, their SOS is terrible, and they are 4-7 against the RPI top 50. They took 2 of 3 from Cal Poly, thats about all they've done thats impressive. No one can convince me UCI is a good team, they are living off of the rants 2008 perception of them.

Random question...
Why are UNC and Florida State playing a single game tomorrow? I hate this new ACC schedule they pulled out their arse.
