if you can't see that you must be blind.

they pitched better and they hit better.

they beat us twice and frankly I think Lange is the only guy we have that could beat them.

We still had a great season and should finish top 5 in the polls and at least made it to Omaha.

it was apparent to me in the regionals that we had peaked at the plate. just about all of the pitchers we faced, sans LeHigh tied our guys in knots and we didn't hit with authority very often.

it's tough to lose our chance at #7 but the sun will rise tomorrow.

We would have won 4-2 if not for the Godfrey and Stallings decisions.

Lange is the only guy who could beat anyone in the CWS. If we were going to make it far in the CWS we needed Poche to perform. He didn't so we didn't make it very far.

Wiped the floor with LSU two games in a row, who would argue otherwise?

I posted this thought after the regionals and it was not well received. Good job on waiting until now to say "I thought this would happen but didn't want to say anything."

predicting bad times ahead does not go over well on this board.

I doubt tcu will fare well against Beuler and fulmer hitting in the .270's but stranger things have happened. I think they brought back a bunch of guys who were senior starters and had some guys come back instead of getting drafted. Credit to their pitchers as they had enough to win.

True.

Unless the "Hive Mentality Du Jour" is running in that direction. The key on this board is to discern the "Zeitgeist" of the moment and run with it.

"The Hive" will have a GroupThink thing going in one direction or another and your thought won't be well received unless it's in line with the strict requirements of Conformity of Thought of the Hive and it's current emotional state.

They were absolutely the better team. Their approach at the plate was miles ahead of us. Their bullpen was better stocked. That's on coaching.

Better head coach too. Vandy-TCU should be another low scoring game with the pitching these two teams have.

Everything is relative. TCU was very beatable. They ARE very good. But, if LSU had played up to par, LSU wins.

At no point did I think that TCU was just the better team. Game 1 LSU melted down. Game 3 LSU's pitching were struggling just to throw strikes so we gave them extra runners way too often and were behind in counts the entire night. Neither of those things are a related to TCU.

The bottom line is that LSU's play dropped 2 notches in Omaha. So, if you want to say TCU was better...you'd be right. But, if you are trying to say we just came across a better team I wouldn't agree.
