Yellow Cab -
Initial pick up fee - $2.25
per mile fee - $1.80
Distance from downtown Dallas to Cowboy Stadium in Arlington - 24 miles
Total cost - $45.45

Can anyone confirm this approximation?

Can't confirm, but for me, it would be worth it.

Don't have to worry about parking or getting a DWI.

I think this is what we are going to do. Only concern is post game and being able to get a cab.

No problem but you will have to wait a little while unless you are real lucky.

How did you find this information. I'm curious how much it would be from DFW Airport to the stadium

for the Cotton Bowl, I think I got out for just under $60, and my hotel was on the northern end of downtown

so, that's pretty close

We stayed at the intercontinental in downtown for the cotton bowl. Ask for a flat rate instead of meter. They will negotiate with you. Now after the game is a CLUSTER F

There will be plenty of cabs around the stadium after the game. Don't be afraid to walk away from the stadium to find a cab. Many are in traffic trying to get to the stadium. We saw many at the Cotton Bowl. We jumped in one that did a quick u-turn and on our way we went.

I took cab at Cotton Bowl last year, getting a cab back was a nightmare. Got lucky on a side street otherwise there a couple of hours.

Board sums it up. Post game, 100+ in line & not a cab in sight. We crossed the street on the west side & headed north & had a cab in minutes.

Post game would be a pain in the arse since even if you get in a cab, the meter runs on time as well.

If you are riding with a few people, then it becomes a no brainer. From the airport, it should be about 25-30 bucks, they have terminal fees which get ya real fast.

On a side note, Orlando may be the worst place in the world to get cabs, ridiculously expensive, DFW is fairly reasonable for how spread out things can be

you have to consider traffic

if you are in heavy traffic you will get charged time vs miles

I have arranged for a party bus from downtown to stadium drop off then pick us up after the game. I have a few spots left. $40 a head.

This is an adult ride since there will be drinking and tailgating in route. Bus has tv's sound system etc...

Will leave around noon return when it's over.

If you interested just shoot me an email. Todd@doctorgaddis.com
