There are a lot of great matchups this week. Here's to hoping this week has some top ten teams go down.

I say true. LSU will be ranked 9 next week.

A lot of Top 15 teams honestly would have to fall for LSU to have a big surge. If Top 15 (but outside of Top 10) teams still win, that is an opportunity to still pass up LSU.

The point is to climb the BCS rankings, hoping to eventually get to 1 or 2 man.

You do know the BCS rankings don't carry over to next year?

Possible, if other teams lose, we will move up bc we beat Furman? Better question, is where will be ranked after we play AL and TAMU.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Do you like when LSU loses more than when they win? You seem like one of those guys.

Your "point" is that the season is essentially over and our ranking from here on out doesn't matter anymore. You sound like a good time too.

David, the only cogent point to be made in this thread, IMO, is whether we finish in the top ten this season. No, the season is not over , we have four (five counting the bowl game) to play. Even if we win out, we will not be number 1 or 2, but we will at least finsih in the top ten. That stated, I hope that we win out, but I am not putting money on us winning out.

I don't think so, no more than two max pending any crazy upsets like Wake over Miami or Kansas over Baylor.

I think our best shot to move up is to jump UCLA. Next is a Clemson loss to Maryland, which is not improbably with history.

I think OU/TT will even if OU wins, which is likely IMO: OU jumps us and TT fall behind. If TT wins we stay the same.

Bolded games are ones to look for:

Tennessee at No. 1 Alabama
North Carolina State at No. 2 Florida State
No. 12 UCLA at No. 3 Oregon
Penn State at No. 4 Ohio State
No. 21 South Carolina at No. 5 Missouri
No. 6 Stanford at No. 25 Oregon State
Wake Forest at No. 7 Miami (FL)
No. 8 Baylor at Kansas
No. 9 Clemson at Maryland
No. 10 Texas Tech at No. 15 Oklahoma
Florida Atlantic at No. 11 Auburn

Duke at No. 14 Virginia Tech
Vanderbilt at No. 16 Texas A&M
No. 17 Fresno State at San Diego State

I know right?!? Maybe LSU could like totally lose the rest of their games and like drop out of the top 25 completely, since nothing matters since they won't win the National Championship...amiright??! That way next season we will start outside the top 25!!111!!
