Should that also mean that these HS are capable of getting a 2-0 lead on LSU?

False. Imo, this is the same as when people said Alabama could beat an NFL team.

Yeah it's Grambling, but they're still D1 baseball players.

That's fair. I see where you're coming from. Baseball is much different than football. You don't need a team full of studs.. just 9 guys that are legit.

False, and I'm not even a baseball fan.

All of Grambling's players are D1. Not all, or even most, of West Monroe's players will play D1 baseball.

16 and 17 year old kids vs. 20 and older.

You probably think West Monroe could beat a DIII football team also? Hint: They would get destroyed.

You're a freakin idiot. Those dudes are grown arse men. Not high school boys that have potential one day off being good college baseball players.

you'll never see Grambling with a Greg Deichmann, Jake Slaughter, or Blayne Enlow, or Slade Bolden...

No
The maturity level of players in college would win out over high school age kids.
But, yeah at West Monroe where they hold them back they do have college age kids.

Those weird delivery pitchers from Grambling would give high school players fits.

Football and baseball aren't the same. In football size, strength and depth would overpower a high school team. In baseball all it would take is a dominant arm and a few good bats. Best of 5 I would take Grambling but in a single game a high school team like Barbe, West Monroe or any high school team with a stud pitcher could beat Grambling. Think Barbe with say Eric Walker throwing for them last year.

eta : the 92 Catholic High team
Patrick Coogan
Chris Demouey
Tim Lanier
Brad Daugherty
Kevin Ainsworth
Dan Guillory
All went to LSU. They also had at least 2 other players on that team that played at a higher D1 level than Grambling. They didn't even win LA State. So anyone saying Grambling would easily beat a HS team doesn't understand baseball.
