Shitty reality and the most pathetic miss of the Miles era

This is assumes that he would have been developed or played in an offense that utilized his skills. Neither of those could be assumed. Miles was far worse than his record indicates.

Thought it was safety. Miles and Saban both wanted him for safety is what I had read. Or thought I'd read.

QB is easily the hardest position to scout at that level.

Dak and his family lived down the road from me,so I went to watch him play a couple times. There is no way that you could watch that kid play and not do everything you could to sign him. The things they asked him to do in that offense made him come across as an athlete playing quarterbAck ,he would get 25 carries in a game and th at made him look as if he wasn't a polished pocket passer. But the accuracy was there, are strength was there.the intangibles were obvious as well. A lot of bootlegs and Sprint outs thrown to small receivers that weren't fast enough to separate and not strong enough or Big enough to battle for position .that may have made his stats not as pretty and A lot of the guys that are recruited have Big stats and have Big receivers. They have the luxury of sitting in shotgun and being protected well. Makes for some beautiful throws and a highlight tape that's more visually appealing then daks. In this area of the state the guys that were Big recruits running spread offenses over the years were; Brock Berlin, John Davis booty , Shea patterson,BrAndon harris, then from way back when, Terry bradshaw,Stan Humphries. They all had a prettier highlight film and stats

Dan Mullen is what made Dak Prescott. Miles could never do that for any QB.

Best decision of his life was going to Moo State. I love LSU, but we weren't the right school for him.

Post of the year lol

Agh time to break in a new account. I bet he does have a mean hand off- Looks mighty good handing it to Zeke Elliot this year. I have a feeling that he would have been better at MSU with a better set of weapons around him, which LSU had at the time. Maybe I'm in the looney bin for agreeing about this, but I think he could have really shined here. He undoubtabtly outpreformed some of the quarterbacks we've had with less talent to work with.

Lsu offered him at qb. He chose to stick with State. He said himself he didn't grow up an LSU fan.

Would've loved to have him at LSU but no we still weren't going to win any titles for other reasons mostly the man in charge.

False. Dak would be toiling as a third string TE in the NFL while Miles sycophants insisted that The Mad Shatter actually saved his professional career because he "never" would have been drafted as a QB.

Dallas would have 6 or 7 losses right about now.
