SVP on LSU vs USC(soCal)

Van pelt and Ryan on ESPN radio put SEC vs PAC 10. Both said LSU would lose to USC. Thoughts?

as much as I hate USC I don't disagree with them....our O sucks, can't move the ball

There's a part of me that says we could win that game. With stellar D and a solid run game I think it could happen.

I thought their complete breakdown/analysis of the SEC vs. PAC ... at this point in time....was pretty fair.

has anyone seen USC play this year? They suck. Lackluster, no emotion. Even with our offense struggling, we would beat them.

Nothing about the mighty USC impresses me. They are an average team. LSU could beat them, might be a 7-6 score but they are not impossing like they used to be.

I think we would beat them this year, but only if we were playing here. Their D is pretty suspect.

Get Jasper to the 45, and he's money. USC wouldn't punt it past our 45, for fear of Peterson getting a good chance to get under it.

Van Pelt has always loved USC.
And yes, LSU could certainly beat them. Their pass D is almost as bad as our pass O. I think they're 113 on pass D and we're 115 on pass O. Hawaii's 3rd stringer was lighting them up. I think we could break 100 yards on them, but our we'd probably still not look good doing it.
But I think our defense is better than their offense and we'd still be able to run on them. Their D isn't what it was three years ago. They used to be solid all over on D, but that has changed.
And then we obviously have the best special teams.
