I've never been to an LSU baseball game and my Dad and I are thinking about driving over for a game. What's the best/easiest way to snag a ticket? Preferably online purchase as we would for sure like to have a ticket before driving over. TIA

I understand your desire to have tickets in hand before driving all that way. Just food for thought, I have always purchased tickets outside the stadium for a reasonable price...sometimes free. The longest I've looked for tickets was 30 minutes. Good luck and enjoy!

Even for the supers? If that's the case, then I will be doing that.

Are you talking specifically a super regional? I have always been able to get them for regular games but I too was wary about the driving in with no ticket. It's funny cause I always do that for football and I've never had an issue. Only difference is that when I drive in to go to the Bama football game I'm prepared to spend a lot on a ticket. I just don't necessarily wanna be gouged for this baseball series. I would prolly pay a little more but I'm not familiar with the prices as I am with football.

At an Alex Box hosted Super Regional? I have my doubts.

People hand extra tickets to ticket takers. Standing outside the gate last night I was asked by them if I needed a ticket.

It's a risky move, but at gametime ask the ticket takers if you desperately need one.

I'd make the decision on Stubhub vs. outside the stadium once the opponent and game times/dates are announced.

If we're playing 7pm FRI/SAT/SUN vs. MSU...buy online.

If we've got an early daytime game on Friday vs. SoMiss, pick up a pair outside the stadium.

Specifically free for Nola's last game vs. Houston. Pair 3 rows from the LF bullpen. Not Champions Club, but not bad.

Why is someone down voting every post in this thread?
Oh well, down vote this post too.

And to the OP, have fun at your first LSU baseball game.

If you're a student they pretty much handed you a book of tickets if you wanted them back in 2008. Coincidentally, I was there for the last Super series at the old box.

They sat me right before 3rd base. I still don't know how that happened.

Outside is the way to go just keep in mind this ticket will be a little more difficult than the last few supers tickets due to the local matchup. Obviously there will be more demand by Miss State or Southern Miss than there was for Coastal Carolina.

Because it reduces their ability to turn a profit on their tickets.

You know LSU played ULL in 2015. Don't get more local than that.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yes, this will be for one of the super regional games this weekend. It would be the Saturday game which seems like it would be the most popular. I think I'm going to buy online and and pay a little more but for sure have a ticket in hand.
