We are not unfortunately. Joke Alleva and F King both need to go.

I have grave doubts that lane kiffin is the right hire for LSU. and I damn sure do not like "waiting" for him. I think we should find the right guy regardless of HIS timetable. I don't give a rats arse if he finds himself unemployed or not. while he does check the right boxes as far as experience in a power spread system his immaturity and lack of trustworthiness is a huge concern to me.

This right here is spot on! If you go by Alleva's standards, Kiffin is off the table because he has interviewed with UH and is going to with UCF. Kiffin is loyal to no one but Kiffin, and he would be here if he wanted to be here. There are a lot of OC's out there and we SHOULD be doing a comprehensive search and not waiting on someone. But until proven wrong I expect the OC search to go no better than the mythical HC search.

Let me preface that I was no Miles sunshine pumper.

Is LSU headed in the right direction in football?

Well, if you believe that much of what was broken with the program was simply Miles' stubborn meddling with the offense and his horrible clock management, then yes it is.

Orgeron's staff will recruit as well as Miles' as a highly-paid staff in all phases of the game that will also be allowed to do their damn jobs on the field. LSU will have a diverse, modern offense.

Its really funny that people think Ed orgeron can command the same respect in a recruits living room as Les miles.

Sure, I will take your request at face value. It isn't hard.

1. After a 2-2 start that included a very unimpressive win against Miss State, LSU changed coaches and finished 5-2 with some impressive blowout wins and two losses by 10 and 6 to the teams who played in the SECCG. The finish would almost certainly have been no worse than 6-2 if the S. Alabama game is not lost to weather.

2. Talent levels remain elite or very nearly so. Outside of Alabama, no one would be expected to field more 4 and 5 star players than the Tigers.

3. We have an elite defensive coordinator.

I did not include the possibility of hiring a high level OC because it hasn't happened ... yet.

There is nothing you can do about any of it. So get on board or start rooting for Alabama

Why don't you think Ed O will recruit as good as Miles? Miles wasn't that great of a coach before he came to LSU. Saban woke the sleeping giant at LSU and Miles kept it rolling for a couple of years then lost his edge. Our only problem was Miles in the first place. He handcuffed the offense the last couple of years and was on the decline. Oregeron has stated what he wants to do with the offense which is the right call. Youre an idiot if you didn't see the results already and he hasn't even done what he really wants to do yet.

Instead of convincing you, how about this. Sit back and wait and see what happens. For EVERY team in the HISTORY of sports, whenever there is a coaching change, there will be uncertainty...whether it's good or bad. Coach O might not be anybody's first option, but it's not like he just fell off the back of a pick-up truck and started coaching football. We're gonna be alright!
