Every year Alabama looks so much tougher and muscular than we do. We honestly look like the poor little teams Nebraska ran thru in the 90s.

Should we look into stealing Cochran's assistant? I know Cochran learned under Moffit, but Moffit is clearly being owned by Cochran now.

It's every year Bama gets a HUGE fricking hit on special teams. This happened fricking three times last night. I know BDP doesn't put our guys in a spot to succeed, but we still look weak as frick. I don't think we got a big hit all game long.

you have done it now, Moffit is the golden god here and his ways are never to be questioned.

His student has become the master.

I do have to say, the kick return coverage was comical. Guice was getting drilled at the fricking ten yard line. Like no one even touched the Alabama kick off team
Like wtf

We should definitely look into the, ahem, "special equipment" that their strength staff may be giving their players.

our guys weren't man enough to block them on offense or special teams.

Our scheme sucks against Bama - simple as that. Our special teams schemes have sucked all year though.

The problem isn't s&c... It's the head coach and the gameplan. We should have been watching Ohio state, ole miss, and tenn game films. Those are people who have had offensive success against bama. Teams who run spread running attacks and use the qb to run, have success.
Teams who run double tight and use fullbacks don't ( see Georgia and Arkansas )

So this equates
quote:

To this?

quote:

It's every year Bama gets a HUGE fricking hit on special teams.

I'm not actually alledging anything, but did anyone else see Henry's post game interview and think he was on something? That dude was talking a mile a minute. It was weird.

ETA: I'm just relaying my observation that he seemed weirdly methy. We lost because of the game plan and brute strength, nothing more than that.

No gameplan would've worked last night. LSU could've had troy aikman and emmitt smith in their prime and with the way that oline got their shite pushed in, it wouldn't have mattered.

I'll allege it. Those frickers are on something!

So are ours but their shite is obviously much superior.

There may be a reason why they look so much bigger, stronger, and faster in college, only for many to fizzle out in the NFL. Tougher drug testing.

It's easy to push someone's shite in when you know exactly what is coming every play. Bama's D looked nothing like that against Ole Miss and Tennessee. Tennessee even outrushed Bama.

I saw it. It wouldn't shock me if it came out years later that Bama was on something. It was literally an NFL-level front 7. Everyone has 85 schollys, it's hard to imagine they tossed around our OL (who has dominated everyone else) like rag dolls without some type of artificial advantage.

Don't know why people refuse to see this! It's the only think holding us back from being on their level and has been for years now. Only big deficiency we have is the leader of this team and his refusal to do things differently.

You aren't allowed to question Moffitt on this board. It was decided years ago that he is perfect by people who don't know anything about what he actually does.

I don't think its a strength and conditioning issue so much as a recruiting issue. While I believe we are equally matched at the skill positions, Alabama consistently gets the best offensive and defensive linemen in the country and they are simply bigger, faster stronger genetically. They are the biggest and baddest in CFB and we are not on the same level.
