Streaming Game on LSU's Campus Question

My company is setting up a tailgate for the LSU / Bama game and we were discussing options on how to watch game on TV. We would like to stay away from Direct TV since this tailgate is a one time deal.
My question is, if we have a username and password on to EDroam or whatever the student/faculty wifi network is, can we stream the game? I know that ESPN will black out LSU games on the internet in Baton Rouge but I'm curious if anyone has ever tried this on campus.
Thanks

We watch on computer every week. No problems as long as you can login with a service provider who has rights to the game.

The game will probably be on CBS, not ESPN. However, if it is on ESPN, you can use the WatchESPN app on a streaming device.
If it is on CBS, just use a HD antenna

I think all you will need is a basic HD antenna. The game will be on the local CBS channel.

be careful, CBS over the air signal is horrible on campus. It is very hard to get a consistent picture, even with an HD antennae

Do you suggest trying the streaming option then?

You should verify eduroam works well where you will be at. I thought I'd be able to watch games with it at our tailgate by lockett but the signal strength was crap.

Thanks - We're right next to Middleton so I'll go check it out this week.

Worked fine for me by the law center.

CBSsports.com streams games. We have watched games on CBS this year.
We have an HD antenna but only use it if we need to catch a game on ABC. CBS doesn't really come thru very well on campus.
