I am not as I am flying with the Traveling Tigers but I already contacted Amanda Robicheaux and they are monitoring the storms and will have contingency plans, so not worried.

Leave Thursday night. NOLA to Chicago. Current track of storm shouldn't affect us. Hopefully it stays that way.

you're going to have to call SW and try to find another route

I'm on a nonstop United flight out of MSY on Thursday. The price was good!! Maybe you could get a refund and get on that one.

8am might not be so bad. They could easily divert that flight a little north and get in to Orlando with no problem. Any afternoon flights Thursday could be iffy though.

I'm flying out Wednesday evening direct to MDW

I just don't like to chance those things. SW is usually helpful and will work with you

Southwest allows you to change flights for no fee. You can also cancel and get a ticket voucher for the amount and use it towards another flight within 1 year of the date you booked. I would change the flight

I am on the same flight as OP. We just called SW and they told us that they can fly through thunderstorms and that as of now, everything is on schedule.
