Why hasn't ( Or maybe there has and I just missed it)there been more criticism of the Florida players jumping up and down on the eye of the Tiger at mid-field. There seems to be very little talk about the wrong things that Florida did during the game.

There were several threads earlier in the week. As a former coach once said, "It's time to move on."

personally, I like what the florida team did. I wish that LSU had the swagger that the florida team has. I also love the fact that we came right back at them and showed them that they can't do that in our house!! That was awesome!

Were they actually on the eye?

Not exactly. They were around the 40-45 yard line.

Someone posted a video in an earlier thread. UF was on the logo but south of the eye. If someone touched the eye it was by accident. I thought it was tense when both teams lined up across the logo and stated jumping and taunting each other. It lasted less than 15 sec when both teams ran off. After it was over I was glad it happened. I know it got my pulse going pretty good. The players seemed to be having a good time (imo).

I thought everyone learned their lesson when that UT guy planted their flag in the eye and then was a b*tch about his T when we beat them up there in Neyland. This is so stupid, it's turf and you are grown men, move on.

I have a picture of it, just not sure how to post it. In need of some direction.

Florida players stomping on the eye of the Tiger prior to the game is the least of our concerns.
Be concerned that we couldn't muster up enough umph to give 'em payback in the game.
NEXT....

Cause the Rant said that we shouldn't worry about that because we didn't take care of business on the field.

I guess they have no pride. I personally, if I get the opportunity, will lay a few steamers on the F at Gainsville next year. See how they like that.

Maybe the Gator fan can comment but I heard they do this mid field stomp before every game. Was not necessarily to stomp on the eye but just kind of strayed onto it a bit. Seems like the case from that video.

I wouldn't even call it a stomp. They didn't start jumping up and down until LSU players approached.

I loved it. The most exciting moment all night ... unfortunately.

Yeah, it was the most exciting moment. The rest of the game sucked compared to the hype leading up to the game.

I didn't mind the Florida players - I guess I didn't see it as disrespect for some reason. When the Tigers met them there, it justfelt like they were all ready to go. Excitement poured off them. Made me excited....until we actually started playing.

You guys are idiots...maybe they meet at the 50 yard line and jump before every game...who the f%$k cares? It's a freaking paint job!!!! Oh my god...did you see tebow run over the eye when he ran for that first down??? He should be suspended...freakin' yoyo's.

Exactly....as many people have said in multiple threads throughout this week Florida gets in a group and jumps up and down at around the 40-45 yard line EVERYGAME home or away....it was nothing personal towards LSU...i cant believe how upset this has so many tiger fans. ya'll have way bigger problems than UF "stomping" on the eye

I thought there was a rule where you couldn't be past your own 45 yard line, therefore giving a 10 yard buffer area.

If that's the case, both teams should have received penalties.
