Why not call him up? You get an OC and QB coach.

Spurrier finally gets to fulfill his dream of being on an LSU coaching staff.

I don't trust anyone's judgment who hires Steve Spurrier, Jr. to a top assistant position with no relevant experience.

I don't think he would fit in well here, but maybe that's what we need--someone who will not bend over to Miles and will run the offense his own way.

Him and Les are like the complete opposite.

Both very entertaining though.

Can you imagine Miles and Spurrier in some kids living room recruiting him to LSU? I would pay to see that.

A former head coach isn't going to sit in a booth and let Les override plays. Les >LSU

Spurrier always ran his offense from the sidelines.

Why would he change now?

I can't wait for Spurrier to jerk around 3 quarterbacks in a game somewhere while the head coach gets fired. It just won't be at LSU.

“I don’t know if coaching is completely over or not,” he said. “It is fun being on the team. I might be a consultant. I doubt I’d be a head coach. Who knows? I doubt it. I’d miss being on the team.”

He did say he was a recruiting liability in his press conference, though.

How much did Cam recruit?

Let's hope Miles (finally) hires a young coach on the way up who is actually a qb teacher rather than some washed up retread like Cameron and Crowton.
