Les Miles will somehow find a way to keep this game close. The last thing LSU needs is a close game after last weekend, this week needs to be a statement win. Granted it's against JSU, but they took Aunurn to OT last year and almost beat them. I never understood why Les doesn't keep his foot on the pedal, looks at Saban last week 52-6. Saban doesn't care about feelings, he cares about wins.

Lane was the one driving up that score. Saban let him even though a lot of people thought he wouldn't.

Is this what we've been reduced too? Hoping for a statement win against Jacksonville state?

That's because he's a diminutive cyborg crafted by a bitter, gray, and tyrannical future.

But following your thinking: what pedal can Miles push? And if he does, what happens?

The same Aubum that we destroyed last year, they lost to. Look I'm not saying we'll win by 60, but all this flack the coaches and players are getting is being heard.

In the year 2016, after all the amazing recruiting classes and the astronomical amount we pay our staff, LSU needs to make a statement by NOT just narrowly defeating Jacksonville State on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

Thanks, Les Miles.

If this game is close, LSU will get so much heat for not blowing out a team they should. Les is already on the hot seat.

Sadly ... yes, evidently.

You know ... because Bama throttled USC Trojans.

As bad as all this sounds, it's sadly true, LSU cannot have a close game against JSU.

That offensive line did not have Karl Malone and Clapp starting on it.

I agree but that's besides the fact, LSU squandered plenty of opportunities last week that were non-offensive line issues. Miles and Cam don't trust Harris, plain and simple

there is only a bad statement that can be made this weekend unless lsu wins 250 - 0. Any kind of blow out should happen with lsu vs jsu. if it is with in 17 points it is too close.
