Starting pitchers for Ole Miss and UL-L Tonight

Does anyone know why the starting pitcher for UL-L (I think Baranik) and the starting pitcher for Ole Miss, Trent, are no longer at LSU?

Baranik was not kicked off the team after that DUI which happened a few days before the 2012 season opener.
He was suspended for a while but came back and pitched 3.2 innings giving up 3 hits and walking 2.
He was told after the end of the season there was no roster spot for him in 2013.

I realize it was the 7th game of the regional. Instead of saying the "third game against Houston," the way it was worded sounded weird and I found it humorous.
