We have to win a game with Jonny anyway. Do we give him an extra day to make sure he's rested?

EAT: @SmartestMoran
Paul says Jared Poche' will start tomorrow's elimination game "if he feels good." Will see how he feels tomorrow before the game #LSU

Tomorrow. There is no Monday if you lose tomorrow. No brainer.

He gives us our best chance to win. So I wouldn't consider throwing anyone else. Win or go home. That's it.

Have to throw him tomorrow. No hesitation on this gotta win this game first and then deal with game three (if necessary)

Why would you leave poche on the bench with the season on the line?

Poche deserves one more start at The Box. He may not get that chance Monday

I think we need to pitch Clayton Kershaw tomorrow. We might pull it out.

Not pitching Poche and losing would have even the most diehard fan calling for his head.

Elle I don't see how your so confident we need our best out there if we lose were done, they're looking at this game as do or die so you have to roll out Poche he gives us our best chance

Start Gilbert. If needed bring in Poche. If not we got Monday easy. No matter what I hope someone hits this Oompa Loompa batting now.

I'm not suggesting it. Hence the question. The thought would be that you have to win 2, not 1. Both games matter equally. You do what you have to do to win BOTH. So what do you do that gives you the best shot? Maybe PM thinks that a Poche on more rest after throwing so much last weekend would be much better.

That's not how all coaches think, of course. Some think one game at a time. There's no right or wrong approach because you can justify it either way.

We have to win a game with Poche too. Pitch him, get the win (hopefully) and some confidence back going into Monday. This is really a no brainer. He gives us the best chance to win tomorrow.

Only reason CPM would not throw Poche is real signs of fatigue. But I get what you're saying. Still, he will throw the best option available Sunday.

I think LSUs best chance is with Poche vs their #2 and Valek/etc vs their #3.

Poche is better on short rest.

Can you imagine the backlash though if we didn't throw him tomorrow and we lose? You end your season without throwing your hottest pitcher?
