Spring practice to start March 11, Spring Game April 22

Teams get a maximum of 15 practice dates, and the six-week window will give the Tigers plenty of time to complete those sessions.
The spring practices will be the first under coach Ed Orgeron and with new offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
The school promoted Orgeron from interim coach after the Tigers went 5-2 under his watch. LSU finished the season with a Citrus Bowl victory against Louisville.
The school will announce a full spring practice schedule at a later date.

A day baseball game, then having the spring game at night would be pretty cool IMO.
ETA: I see we're on the road at UK that weekend for baseball.

They haven't done it the same day as a home baseball game in a while. Seems like that would make sense

I think it would be awesome if Coach O found a way to draw a bigger attendance this year. I know we aren't going to sell out like Alabama or Ohio State, but it would be cool if we filled up the entire lower bowl instead of just one side.

Pretty sure O has a plan laid out for how he wants spring practice to go, and that plan does not include making sure the baseball team has a home game the same day as the spring game. I would actually venture to guess that Alleva would rather there not be a game at Alex Box the same day, considering the planning it would take. Would be nice for the fans, though.

It is becoming painfully obvious Alleva would prefer to avoid pleasing the fanbase.
