Sports Hernia and Brandon Harris

quote:

Sports hernias often occur where the abdominals and adductors attach at the pubic bone. Traditional hernias occur in the inguinal canal.

quote:

Cause
Sports activities that involve planting the feet and twisting with maximum exertion can cause a tear in the soft tissue of the lower abdomen or groin.

quote:

Symptoms
A sports hernia will usually cause severe pain in the groin area at the time of the injury. The pain typically gets better with rest, but comes back when you return to sports activity, especially with twisting movements.

With this injury happening to Brandon Harris during the Bama game can you cut him some slack not playing well against Arkansas and Ole Miss.

If he is fully recovered this could be a different year. I think this year Miles has a backup he can go to if needed.

I've gone back and watched games before and after the injury.

You can tell exactly when it happened, and his game suffered immediately.

Did he have this surgically repaired? If not it will and I repeat will always be ready to bite you at a moments notice.

Since you've just re-watched all the games again, when exactly did he injure it?

You're right, but expecting people here to consider mitigating factors that may have negatively affected his game is folly.

Critical thinking abilities are in woefully short supply on tRant

I've had a sports hernia, I have no idea how he played with one, you can't do anything with your lower half, it's zaps your explosiveness

Ole Miss he was 26/51 for 324 Yards Passing and Total Offense was over 500 Yards. Very seldom you will see a team have that much Offense and not win the game.

Is it too much to ask for us to have another option when a QB goes down?

You must be new to the rant if you think some of the idiots here give anyone at LSU slack in anything.

This injury was pointed out months ago and how it can adversely affect a player, but you still have clowns posting shite about Harris, the offense, running the ball too much, and other dumb shite as if having a QB playing with a recent hernia didn't mean shite.

Except in the myriad cases when a team is so far behind and forced to the air to TRY to play catch up.
