Can't wait for this to be finished if for nothing else than to stop the "ready in time" jokes.

they forgot to include concession stands and bathrooms in the original plan so they had to make them separate structures on the top level. those are the boxes you see sticking up. this may actually top the pvc pipe mistake. pretty amazing that they did this.

I believe it. LaTech, supposedly a great Architecture school, built their main HQ tower building with all the windows facing East and West but none on the N and S sides. Supposedly they're getting killed on the AC bill from that frickup. They also built their brand new Olympic sized pool about a foot too short so they can't use it for meets.

This does look like concession and restrooms at the top but it seems to me to just be an open concourse type that you would see in the out field of a baseball stadium or something.

Thats what im thinking too. Their not adding bleachers on top. itll be an open air area for "standing room only" people i would assume
