Well why not change your lineup to get their attention. The last 4-5 games it's been the same thing no defense, missed layups, missed free throws and a lack of being strong with the ball. Our PG play is poor so make a change there and I'm not saying don't play JG but let him come off the bench where it's less pressure on him. Mickey and Martin is playing hard but they put to much pressure on theirselves to win games. It was a couple times last night all they had to do was make the extra pass to a wide open teammate but they either forced up a bad shot or turned it over trying to go nowhere fast. Keith needs to be more involved with the offense meaning run him off of screens or put him in pick in rolls. Why with 2 sec left in the game your best shooter taking the ball out? Nobody has the answer to that one. I know this is not an experienced team but it's no way we should not be undefeated going into Tuesday game against UK. Bottom line is I think now he see as a coach it's time to make changes which he should have done 2 weeks ago.

Not going to read

We have an extremely young SQAUD with bench players who aren't ready.

Just cause you are scoring points doesn't mean you are playing hard. Martin may be the softest person on the court and Mickey gets pushed around.
Mickey thinks he is a shooting guard at times. They aren't to be excluded from the problems this team is having. Both of them get man handled on a daily basis. However, they are big threats and are good players. They should be taking the team on their shoulders and neither have shown yet that they are able to do it consistently.

Hornsby is probably the guy least likely to throw it away in that situation and as you saw, he held on to it until he had no choice but to throw it somewhere. Mickey works his but off, but he & martin got pushed around on that inbounds play and neither got in a position to receive the ball. All of our players have major issues with cutting hard to the ball and getting in good position on inbounds plays.

So why not recruit guys that are ready to contribute right away instead of projects?

Like someone else posted. Mickey and Martin can do whatever they want and not get benched because there is no one else worth it. M&M's worst is better than the bench. Gray started losing minutes to JP and I think hes been playing a bit more in control since then.

Players seem out of sync.

Not sure why.
