Might be the nicest man on the planet. No matter what turmoil is going through that department, he's solid and adapts to make any transition easy. He's untouchable, and rightly so.

He does a little of everything. Great guy

He deals with the boosters a lot, and highschool coaches.

He's the guy behind the scenes that knows everyone.

...no shite if this guy ever decided to write a book on what happened Inside of LSU football over the past 30 years it would be a must read.

He taught a class I took at LSU. It was held in the auditorium in Tiger Stadium and was 90% football players.

It was a pretty interesting class. All about college athletic departments and how it's run. Seemed like a really nice guy. I needed a Non business 4000 level class and Devery got me in (I tutored and made sure the athletes went to class).

Yep...when Skip said on the radio today "you can't fire Sam Nader, he knows where all the bodies are buried"...he wasn't lying or exaggerating.

Quick story about him. In 1999 or 2000 LSU was playing U.K. At home. The arena had already filled up, he kicked me and a friend out of our seats in order to give Whitworth and Niswanger (both in HS still and being recruited) seats to the game.

Sam is a gem. He actually went to Auburn. He went to work at LSU for Chonly Mac as a graduate assistant back in the 70'state. He has never left. Been at LSU ever since. Lives, eats, breathes LSU. Knows every job in the Athletic Department. He's indispensable and one of the nicest, most ethical, genuine, sincere guys you will ever meet.
