Some of you guys need to step back off of the ledge.

How many of you predicted 12-0 this year? If you did, go ahead and jump. It seems that most people predicted 9-3 or 10-2 but we lose 1 game to a good Georgia team (at Georgia) and all of the sudden we need new defensive coaches and players. I don't get that. We set a record for Juniors leaving early last year and if anyone didn't expect some issues on defense...you are either delusional or don't understand football. I will say this...if we only had 1 of those players back (Kevin M) our defense would be considerably better. That said, we don't so we deal with it. Chavis is a great coach and I'm sure he will do whatever he can to make this defense better.

Fact is, our offense is living up to expectations and that is awsome. Our defense is struggling and that was expected. We go 4-0 and some people automatically adjust their expectations to 12-0. If anything, I can see a bunch of recruits looking at this team and feeling that they can make a difference. We will probably be dealing with another group of Juniors leaving early and that is something that we will have to accept...again. I friggin hate seeing our Tigers lose but I'm proud of what I saw yesterday. After the past 3 years...41 points was fun to watch.
