Some LSU Football number changes and the 2015 Roster

Wide Receiver Avery Peterson has taken Rashard Robinson’s No. 21 jersey since Robinson is no longer on the team.
Linebacker Lamar Louis has switched from No. 23 to No. 11 and safety Corey Thompson has taken No. 23.
Sophomore safety John Battle is now wearing No. 26 and linebacker Clifton Garrett switched from No. 3 to No. 30.
The four early enrollees also have their jerseys with cornerback Kevin Toliver II wearing No. 2, running back David Ducre will be in No. 41, quarterback Justin McMillan will be No. 12 and tight end Hanner Shipley will wear No. 84.

Couldn't he have worn 21 regardless of RR being on the team? Unless they're planning to move him to defense?

Hey they didn't say Bergeron went from 17 to 11 and Miquel James from 86 to 22. Caleb Lewis early enrollee is in 14 and we got a new QB named Tiger. Let's be fair to everybody haha.

In an unrelated topic, I really don't like when there are multiple college football players on the same team with the same number that get a lot of playing time. I understand maybe one, but I've seen Florid State, Bama, etc with multiple. Do they really have that much of an ego that they HAVE to wear their high school number?

Anybody have a clue why we have a guy listed at DL who is 5'11" and 206 lbs? Roster shows #62 Hunter Burns from Wilmer, AL by way of Baton Rouge CC.
