Interesting Conference Rankings:

Total offense = #1
Rushing offense = #2
Passing offense = #3
Scoring offense = #2

Rushing defense = #3
Scoring Defense = #6

Net punting = #1
Punt returns = #5

Sacks allowed = #3

So far looks to be surprising in a few categories, especially offensively and net punting.

but this isnt good enough...we need to run the "wild tiger" and get the ball as far away form our qb as possible

This would be after one game against Miss. St....

This is too small a data sample against too sucky a team...

Well then if they are SEC stats, we have played 2 SEC games, so data is starting to accumulate...

No, those are season stats and compare SEC teams ranks nationally to the other SEC teams. These count all games, you douche.

I am not a douche. I am an a-hole... get it right!

Okay then, you now add Appy St. and North Texas. I feel so much better now!

Dude, pretty much every team has played crappy teams to pad their stats.

It's still too early in the season to make much of them yet.

At this point we've beaten Auburn. That gives us one big win with 5 more to go (UF, UGA, Bama, SECCG, and NCG). As far as I'm concerned that makes us perfect so far with a long road ahead.

Our offense has been outstanding this year. I think we are going to be in good shape offensively for as long as we have Gary Crowton.

Auburn has a great defense, and MSU has a respectable one, and our offense performed really well against both.

that is kind of my point. I'd rank Auburn's defense a hell of a lot better than Miami's this year, and We put up 27 on them at Auburn, while UF's super offense put up 26 on an athletic but slightly above average Miami defense.

MSU has a very good defense, but has an offense that makes them look worse than they really are.

In the spirit of full disclosure, we are 7 of 12 in Total Defense.

Total defense is a misleading measure. Scoring defense is more important.

You can have 260 yds of offense and 16 pts or 450 yds of offense and 7 pts. Which defense did the better job?
