Some 2017 LSU baseball news...

Ducote and Lochridge no longer on the team but in school. Forshag has joined the equipment staff. Coach Mainieri says Alden Cartwright and Nick Bush (both had tommy John) will not participate in fall but will likely be ready at some point next season. Season opens with 3 game set against Air Force Academy.

Oh damn. I thought Ducote would compete for a spot in the outfield after the summer he had.
We were at 38/35 after Dawson left. This gets us to 35.
Is there anywhere I can read more on this?
ETA: This gets us to 36/35. I had already counted out Lochridge.

Sucks about Lochridge, at least we have good infield talent coming in.
The schedule looks pretty solid: Ole Miss, South Carolina, and A&M all at home. I'll have to make the trip to Minute Maid this year.

I think I counted 36 on roster. So one has to go by Spring, assuming Cartright can play by then.

I am normally one of the first people to criticize the schedule so I feel like I need to say how much I like this schedule. Other than playing Grambling instead of Southern, which is a minor quibble, I don't have any issues with this schedule.

So what is the scoop on Cody Ducote? I thought he was going to play right away. I know Lochridge has to quit baseball due to the neck issue. Sad to hear about that.

Whats up with lochridge. Knew he was hurt but this is the first I've heard about him having to quit playing.
