I enjoy fastpitch a ton. Not sure we need to compare baseball and softball but the growth of fastpitch has been fun to watch. Great sport for TV because it's fast paced, field is small, and games are only two hours. Easily the best female sport for me and it's not even close.

at this level with top talented teams Softball is fun to watch, however its a joke when you watch below college talent.
what you end up having is the good teams have one amazing pitcher and she pitches every game and throws a shutout. my cousin played on a good team in high school and there pitcher played at Texas. when i watched them that year the games were a joke. the other team would make contact with the ball about 4 times a game. waste of time

It is. I'm not trying to hate on baseball, I mean I usually don't start watching until the end of year for both but I've had more fun going watch the softball team in years past than baseball.

I wouldn't say that, but I can watch a non-LSU game of softball between two random unranked teams more easily because its faster paced.

I hate how u stick the barrel of the bat out in softball and it's a homerun. Makes me nervous every time the opposing team steps up. I just knew lsu was about to get walked off
