Just checking to see if LSU actually got Sexton'ed....or whether the powers that be really just had a change of heart and decided to keep Les....

If you're FSU, why would you give him a raise when the school that was courting him was forced to back out of the deal? There's no offer on the table to counter. Thats why jimbo went and told the AD I'm staying. Well no shite.

Sexton played LSU like a fiddle just like he did Texas when they hired Strong. Fisher is no different than Saban, he would've come to LSU then bolted for NFL and resurfaced at Bama.
Sexton is probably telling Jimbo to bide his time at FSU and Bama will take him when Saban is done.

If he didn't get a raise then he played no fiddle. If he turned LSU down, then he turned down more money. If LSU backed out, then LSU are the idiots.

Have been saying since Saturday, FSU would have immediately announced a raise for Jimbo had that been the issue. The longer we go without that announcement, the clearer it becomes that politics screwed up this opportunity.

Why are you guys believing all of this? There was never a deal done. Jimbo asked for 7 million to see if they would even consider it and then use that as leverage. No one was going to pay that money. Courtesy conversation by Jimbo, but there was never a real deal.
