So why address the players on his future if there's nothing of substance to say?

This was reported on saturday he's addressing his players today on his future... whats the need to say hey guys, i'm the coach till i'm not the coach? it doesn't make sense.

So they will focus on the game and not the rumors. It's pretty simple. It's been blown up to the point where he feels he has to address it with is team so they don't lose focus.

because the baton rouge media was saying miles is gone at the end of the season last week. now it's a national thing.

When we blow out A&M the players will carry miles off the field

Miles already knows, and he wants to tell his players himself before it gets out.

It was overblown. He always meets with the players on Monday afternoon and i am willing to bet he will be telling them something different than he is telling the media. To be honest i wouldn't be surprised if he says something different to the media after practice. Best thing for LSU is wait til next week when all the coaches you want to talk to season is finished.

The have lost any focus they had left after the Alabama game. It's not that.

But even if focus was an issue, should the coach be trying to fix that? Which is exactly what he's doing. Which is exactly the right thing. So you're point just proves that he's a good coach, right? See how I can twist words too?
