The way they've been throwing lately I trot Poche out there.

Normally the answer would be Reynolds, but I'm starting to think this may be the best idea.

Lange on Saturday, Bain on Sunday, and Reynolds/everyone else on Monday if need be.

Bouman has no business pitching in any game unless we are up 12-0 in the 7th

I am thinking that Bain would be best as a reliever. He has only had one
quality start, while he had numerous really good relief appearances.

Reynolds has pitched very well lately, I would start him with Bain to relieve him

#LSU pitching rotation:
Friday: TBA
Saturday: Alex Lange
Sunday: Jared Poche'

Mainieri says 10 pitchers will throw today and he and Alan Dunn will decide who will start Friday by Thursday. Could be "a lot of pitchers"

I like Poche pitching Sunday. 10 days rest is what he needed. I see him having a good post season.

Maybe Devall starts the Lehigh game.

Although, there probably aren't many lefties in that lineup. Maybe 2.

Heard on the radio that Maineri hinted he might start Lange on Friday? Surely that must be wrong?

It's already been announced that Lange is starting on Saturday and Poche on Sunday. Pretty much everyone else is in the mix to start on Friday.

Sounds like he will piece the first game together to not burn anyone from coming back rest of the weekend that's assuming Lange and Poche can go deep in game 2/3 which should not be a problem.

I think this will be pitched as a midweek game, trot a lot of pitchers out there and hope the bats take care of any slip ups from the mound....
That way all that pitched will be available for relief during the weekend and if, God forbid, we have to go to a dreaded Monday game...

dat arse!!!

Off base I know, but it would seem like a good idea to do a Regional preview show on ESPNU or something. Where all the analyst pick the brackets all the way through the championship like they do in basketball.

Hated the "road to omaha" preview. It was basically the selection show again, just rearranged. And not much analysis.

I think Bain needs to move back to long relief. He hasn't performed well in his starts, but has performed great in his relief appearances. His relief appearance against MO was by far his best performance in the last month
