Give Coach O a chance and keep Aranda.
If Coach O fails in three years, then make Aranda our head football coach.

Well he's never been a head coach... But we at least know he is a master of one side of the ball.

We just hired our fricking d line coach. And yes, he's been a head coach. For a short time.

I would prefer that. But can we afford to pay three head coaches at the same time? If not, we're stuck with O until we're done paying Miles.

Understandably, those who are complaining simply want a proven product that represents the program better at press conferences as well but after really looking at what is out there and what we have, I like the gamble with CEO.
One of the few things that I am confident of in this transition is that if does does fail after a couple of seasons, the cupboard will still be stacked for the next guy. If that guy is Aranda then he will have had three years of partial exposure to the HC position and the talent to succeed with a team that he knows well. On top of that, the recruiting cycle that year along with the staff should not suffer much due to the transition.
I, however, see CEO being successful. Of coarse, I like sunshine.
