So is there even any indication that we might be looking at another OC?

Seems like the biggest no brainer of all time but I would figure we would have heard something about a coaching search by now

Or is it possible that they wait until the BCS game is over with before they start the search?

You havent heard anything because No changes will be made. We are running the offense Miles likes.

It took 27 years, 4 months and 13 days to can Crowton. Expect more of the same for Stud. The fix is in. Miles has NO incentive to rearrange the furniture. He's over-dosing on guaranteed cash for the foreseeable future, and has the support of the Tiger faithful/gullible.

This is just my opinion, but I really think Miles sees nothing wrong with the scheme and sees it as players not executing properly. But when the offense is a problem for 5 straight seasons, it's clearly not the players.

Well next year they won't really have any excuses

O line should be healthier

Mett in second year so no breaking in a new QB

Plenty of talent at RB

If they can't get it together next year, heads have to roll

Add in the fact that there have been 5 straight losing seasons with no trips to the SEC championship game and your point is clearly made.

Thank you for your glittering analysis.

The defense and special teams have been carrying this under achieving offense for years now

Surely you see a need for imporvement

I couldn't agree more. It's just not that complicated. Admitting one of your own - especially the one at the top - needs to be dealt with isn't easy, and those Tiger fans who resist the change are a part of the problem as well. Harping on 10 win seasons just doesn't cut it anymore. I want another Crystal Ball. I've heard it's possible for a coach to have more than 1 - especially with this level of talent.

Long live the Chick-fil-a and Crapital One Bowls.

well if the past is any indicator, stud will have to accept another job at another school first. i don't think a coach has been out right let go. they all "moved on to better opportunities."

problem is... who wants stud?

indicator? Stud isn't recruiting anyone like every other coach.

Announcements or rumors? no.

Who is on the list though? Who would LSU fans want? Cam Cameron? Chan Gailey? Who is out there that has ties to LSU or Miles or we could hire?

Other than someone on this forum saying that, is there any proof?

I can't imagine any OC could do much worse, particularly one with some NFL experience.

This. Miles is making his money and winning just enough to keep those gullible people happy.

I would say he's in retirement mode - do not make any minor changes, ride the wave for a good 5-7 years, suit up and show up and do just enough to win 80% of your games but don't rock the boat, focus on feelings of your friends on staff.

And at the end of the day, all the pumpers can claim how ridiculous the rest of us are being because we actually want to see enjoyable football and a program run by a coach that appears to care about the future (the team's future, not his future).

Because after all, it's not about the whole product, it's just about seeing that 80% win percentage baby! Doesn't even matter what happens in the bowl game.

Why is it that coaching is like a fraternity of idiots. Why can't we recruit talented coaches like we do players? I'm sorry but the most brilliant minds of the world are not coaching football. Let's hire a young guy that has some imagination. Not to be a jerk but Stud reminds me of your typical booger eating moron of a coach and Miles is his brother. People make excuses for the guy and it makes me sick how much money have we paid him? We don't owe him shite. Its time for a change but the flock of sheep fans we have won't demand it.

I'm just wondering what exactly, in his head, is the reason that our offense sucks? Does he KNOW its the coaching and just doesn't wanna fire his barbecue bro? Or does he legitimately think our players aren't executing?

Jwill37- the answer to your question is a simple answer. Gather up all of the unhappy fans, pool your money together. Take that money to Joe A office. Buy out the coaches contracts yall don't like. Take the rest of the pooled money and hire the coaches yall would like. Yes it is that easy.

Why is it that so many Tiger fans believe execution is a gift from God. It's coachable!!!
