So, is our punting just that bad?

I don't have data/stats in front of me, but it seems like we've taken a huge step back. Part of why our D has been so great the last few years was our punters helping us win the field position battle. I'm not sounding the alarm or anything just yet, but this area of our team seems to have made the largest regression. Please, convince me I'm wrong.

We haven't really punted much but when Keehn's been out there he's been inconsistent as frick.

Can't do it. Our punting is not too good.

If all we have to bitch about is the punting, I am ok with that.

I just don't get it. I've seen high school punters consistently pint better than LSU. This is typically an area of strength. I'd be content with an average punting game at this point

Oh, believe me, I am VERY happy with this team. Just making conversation.

Then why not start a thread about one of the things you're happy about rather than the ONE thing you see as a negative?

We're ranked 31st in the country. Averaging almost 41 yds per punt. Thats with a couple 25 yd punts. We've only punted 8 times in 3 games. LINK

I thought it was bad on tv, way worse in person.

Keehn's inconsistancy could be an area of concern.

probably not enough data to this point to sound an alarm. we're winning and we're winning big but we obviously must get better in some area's. pretty much like that with most teams at this point.

get better, get ready...get even.
