Give me the best absurd known NBA player comparison as to what Simmons is/ will become?

He seems like a passive lebron. And we all know how passive lebron is but Simmons seems kinda AD23 type passive w lebron type talent.

He's like Lamar Odom when LO was at Rhode Island sprinkled with a little Lebron.

Lamar Odom is a pretty good comparison imo, but some basketball gurus might be able to give a better one.

About as good a comparison as I can think of.

An ambidextrous Lebron James. Just not as big in terms of body frame.

Lamar Odom at RI. The resemblance is uncanny.

Simmons is much more athletic than Magic. They see the court in the exact same way. Simmons is the modern day, Magic.

he has some of the same attributes are Odom, but he is much more mobile & gets to the rim better. Odom loved the jumper. Was slower afoot

he has the mobility and dexterity of Lebron. He lacks the bulk and killer instinct and some of the explosiveness, but there aren't many 6'10" guys that can handle the ball like either of those guys.

Yep... Agree with all of that Lester.

Like someone said, he's like Lamar with some LBJ sprinkled in.

No doubt the best comparison is Majic. He handles the ball sees the floor and has little or no midrange game much less a pure jump shooter. His biggest asset is to get to the rim and to dish when he can't get off his own shot. Incredible talent . We he develops a jumper look out......

His game Reminds me of a bigger version of Walt Williams.

The Lamar Odom and Lebron comparisons are the ones I see thrown around the most. He isn't quite the physical specimen Lebron is but he fits that big athletic Point-Forward mold. I like the Hedo Turkoglu comparison as well.

Really good. Simmons being two handed at the rim is huge and he can pass and play it all so easily. He is a true talent and LSU Basketball fans realize we are lucky to have him for one season. He is Chris Jackson and Pete Maravich great.

For those of us old timers, a more athletic Danny Manning.
