His statement basically said the school administration and boosters wanted to fire the coach...they didn't support him...the only reason they didn't was because of political appearances...not because they have confidence that CLM will turn it around.

Must feel great to be Les Miles knowing you have that kind of support.

Yep and it's great for recruiting! He declared Miles unworthy of employment, but didn't have the balls to fire him. I honestly feel sorry for Miles now, and I certainly didn't before.

It's the opposite. Les now feels invincible. Get ready for more of the same shite every season.

True. Miles lives in his own little world called Toss Dive Land where Nintendo's Ten Yard Fight provides his can't-miss playbook.

It's clear they did not fire him only because of perception.

NO, he said the school should not spend the money to do the buyout and pay a new coach more than the current coach and still be asking for more funding for academics.

Why do you tards keep saying we are beating a dead horse? This is a pretty fresh and frickin' relevant topic to LSU football.

I'll go a little further. He seems like the type to have a jealous and condescending attitude towards athletics.

What I don't get is the self inflicted pr wounds. Alexander and the program gain nothing from confirming that they made a decision during the game. Just learn to shut your mouth...

Really, that's what you took out of his statements? ?
