All could definitely be picked if they have a great showing. I think as things stand now though everyone is a sure thing with the exceptions of bower and dural.

Surprised Dwayne Thomas didn't get an invite. He really showed some skill during the Bama game and the rest of the season. I definitely think he gets drafted also.

Still think Dwayne Thomas and Lewis Neal should have gotten invited.

Doesn't make sense man, the rant said we don't have close to the amount of talent that Bama has...

Because we dont. Bama's front 7 has more players with a 1st rd grade than lsu's entire team. But by all means keep believing combine invites mean lsu has as much talent as bama.

Bama's front four was their difference maker IMHO. Their linebackers were largely unproven (did their job and may be great at the next level) and their secondary was largely untested (but not great when they were tested as far as I could tell). In short, that front four made everyone else's jobs so much easier that it is hard to tell how talented they actually may be going forward. As for LSU losing four games, I don't see that happening next year. We let teams hang aroundlast year. If Canada is half as good as people say, I can't see four losses.

By a combined 21 points. Notice that most of those guys are defensive players.

Coaching lost the first two games.

The Alabama game was damn close until the entire Bama offense got away with holding in the fourth quarter.

The Florida game was lost in the redzone by the offense.

This was a good team. Had they gone a full year without Miles, then they likely would have contended for the SEC.

Not sure I understand, so you're saying that since three of the players in their front 7 are projected to go in the first round that their whole team is automatically more talented?

Man that's a very lengthy way of saying "4 loss team".

This should give all LSU fans a great sense of pride. It also serves as a very frustrating part of the story that they essentially have nothing to show for their time at LSU. ??Oh, what could have been.....

This pretty much sums up why Miles got fired.

Yes they have had to directly compete against a dominant Bama program the last 10 years. However, the way Miles teams have collapsed each year since 2011 is ridiculous.

The number of players drafted into the NFL is only one measure of talent. We had a weak offensive line that the talent in the other positions couldn't overcome.

Agreed. I think Thomas has a good shot at getting drafted. Neal may be picked up later.... Either way, Neal is an outstanding story and a VERY successful young man. He will be good either way
