Sitting behind the band during game.

I have been to many many games. But that was many many years ago. Is sitting behind the band a good idea? The students don't bother me I welcome the enthusiasm.

It's the best damn place in the stadium! Sat in 206 during the 2012 Bama & Ole Miss game.
Sad that so many boring farts can't stand noise or standing fans elsewhere in the lower bowl. Go home

I use to sit behind the band a lot when they made the move near the tunnel. It was fine. The only thing I can say is the sound is muzzled, but still a great time.

Sat on top of the band in the Superdome. Felt like I was sitting on a subwoofer.

When I was in ROTC (95-99) and the band was over in the Northwest corner, we had two rows roped off right in front of the Golden Girls. Best seats in the house at that time.

Got tickets one time right behind the band. They put the tubas on the back row and they would stand up on their seats. We stood the whole game but when they would get on their seats you couldn't see he field. We asked them to not get on the seats but that didn't stop them. It finally took talking to one of their supervisors to get them to stay off the seats.

exactly....that is why there are often seats available immediately behind the band. It would be fun to be there for a little while, but I would not plan on being able to see the game much...

Remember sitting 3 rows under Golden Girls back in the day. 2 of them had slits in their bottoms that the didn't realize. Great view. Unfortunately it was before cell phones.
