Sitting at the top of Cowboys Stadium/Tiger Stadium

Is there really a point of attending the game? You seem like a mile from everything and the seating chart makes it seem like ants running around.
I never sit at the top of Tiger Stadium. Can a normal person with glasses even tell what is going on?

Not a bad seat at cowboys stadium

You say that but that's just BS. Bad seat compared to what? An obstructed view?

I sat at the very top in the swamp. You couldn't even see the whole endzone below due to the angle.
The most detached I've ever felt while attending a game was the endzone seats at Washington.
It wasn't connected to the rest if the stands, and the track pushed the seats about 50 yds from the field.

I sit in a middle row of the upper deck. You can see fine. Also, its kind of a plus because you can see everyone on the field.

After the first game excitement quickly wears off.....the 400 level seats are TERRIBLE, you're much better off finding 300 / below level..if not, watch in the comfort of your own home !

If you are a true fan of the game, sitting in the UD of tiger stadium is pretty cool. You can see plays develop and get a view of the art of the game. However, lower bowl is pretty bad arse !!

I dont mind. For me it's more about being in the atmosphere than anything

I've sat up top before and it isn't bad at all. You can clearly see everything going on. Not saying I'd rather sit up there, but they're not as bad as you think they'd be.

If you're at a baseball game then upperdeck seats suck, but a football game you can see everything. Unless you're visually impaired.

I hear ya. I'm just trying to figure out of it's worth paying $370 for a pair for lower seats at Dallas or going with the cheapy $200 for pair seats up about half way upper deck

You can see this in the mid level seats too.
Being field level is pretty cool, but it is weird not having the ability to see the plays develop.

You're still there, you can still cheer, and you can still tailgate

400 Level greatness can be had between the end zones in rows 1 - 6. They are actually another level lower in what's called Loge.

Well at Jerry World you have the HD TV to watch plus you get the atmosphere of being in the stadium.
Not a huge fan of sitting at the top of TS. I'll tailgate and watch it on TV.

quote:that price for a pair is worth it, IMO. I haven't heard anything remotely close to that for a lower level seat. If you decide not to use them, I guarantee that you could make a nice profit on them.

I sat on the very last row for the Cotton Bowl. It didn't convince me that I shouldn't have gone. The view was just a lot farther away from the action than I was used to. I sat in the 300s for Oregon, and it was alot better. I have club seats this year, so at this rate, the next game I'll be in a suite or on the sidelines.
The stadium is really something to see. My advice is to go regardless and spring for a way to get out of the 400s if it's an option.

One man's opinion. I sat three rows from the top on about the 20 yard line for the Oregon game. I went there expecting to watch the whole game on the huge video screen.
Reality was this: The whole stadium experience was unlike anything I have experienced anywhere else. When I go to a football game, it's the game I care most about, but going back to that stadium is a huge draw for me. I ended up watching virtually all of the game as it happened on the field and used the video board for replays. For me, sitting that high in Cowboy Stadium is nothing like sitting high in the upper deck of Tiger Stadium. When I sit in the upper deck in Tiger Stadium I don't feel like I am in the stadium. I feel like I am looking down into the stadium. That is not the case in Cowboy Stadium. Plus, while you certainly aren't exactly on top of the action, it's not like the players look like ants.
Let's put it this way, when I found out I had 400 level seats.....but I was moved closer to the 50 yard line and I was about 10 to 12 rows lower I was very satisfied with my seats. Can't wait.
