I think Laron had more overall but the hardest high school and college hit I've seen in person was both by Chad Jones. Tough call for me. Who ya got?

Pretty much this. LaFell abusing that poor kid from State sticks out to me as well.

LaRon straight up had people afraid to go over the middle. He was a beast!

Chad was an animal too, but if I had to pick, I would pick LaRon.

Both were head hunters that laid the boom!

But I would have to say Laron

Zach Smith, I think. I think LSU actually got him twice...

Is it at least close? Got a lot of LaRon votes.

Chad Jones was awesome and I love him.
But the answer Laron. Maybe the most pure punisher LSU has ever had.

Yep. Can't remember who it was the 2nd time but I'm pretty sure it was the next year on a kickoff.

It was Loston, and it ended Zach Smith's football playing days.

To the OP, Laron.

Damn, that poor kid. I legit feel sorry for him. Read a story about him later on and he is going to have some issues from the concussions. He had more than just those two.

I vote for Laron, but didn't Chad Jones hit John Parker Wilson on a delayed blitz and the commentator said something like, "that's just evil"?

That was Laron, he got Wilson twice. Jones got Wilson in 2007, not a big hit, but forced a fumble and Hester punched it in for the win shortly thereafter.

Jones decapitated an Arky receiver, but nearly knocked himself out in the process.

That hit he laid on Joe Adams in 2009 was devastating. Was sitting in the student section and can remember it like it was yesterday. LINK for those of you who can't remember.
